Today is Quad Day on the University of Illinois campus from 12:00-4:00 P.M. Michelle Hill is coordinator of Canaan's recruitment effort. Volunteers are welcome.

The lazy, hazy days of summer have come to a close and will yield to the open doors of school and the learning experience.  Canaan Academy classes begin tomorrow, August 23, for the 2010-11 academic year.

Welcome back, students - back to the books, back to Canaan, and back to the BIBLE (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth)! Stay in the Word, stay focused, and "do your best ... as one who correctly handles the word of truth" (II Timothy 2:15, NIV).

All persons who pledged in the DARE TO TRUST GOD Campaign are asked to honor their Pledge.  Giving based on Reason takes no faith.  Reason simply asks, "What can I afford?"  Giving based on Revelation requires faith. Revelation giving asks, "Am I willing to trust God?"  ALL RESOURCES ARE AT GOD'S DISPOSAL.
