If you are not currently a member of Canaan Credit Union, we invite you to join the many satisfied persons who are banking at God's House.
What makes Canaan Academy unique? Ordinary kids become Super Savers when they deposit money at their credit union! At an early age, students learn financial principles that involve the discipline of money management. They are taught to save, spend, and share when they have money, whether from gifts, allowances, or from performing small tasks for pay.
Pastor Tatum's enlightening and expository sermons are telecast each Sunday evening at 6 P.M. on UPTV, Channel 6.
THE URGENCY OF EVANGELISM. Statistics reveal that approximately 7,200 people die hourly. That is 172,800 daily, 1,209,600 weekly, and 63,072,000 yearly!! It is estimated that only about 10% of the world's population know the Lord. That means approximately 56 million people go to Hell EVERY YEAR!!
The heart of Canaan's ministry is Evangelism and Discipleship! If you have a burden for lost souls, we invite you to join the Soul Winning Action Team (S.W.A.T.) at 10:30 A.M. each Saturday.
The Health Ministry's First Place 4 Health Christ-centered weight-loss and healthy living program is each Saturday at 9:00 A.M.
The "Fit for Life" African Dance-inspired Aerobics exercise classes are each Saturday at 10:45 A.M. in Canaan Academy's Gym.
All persons who pledged in the DARE TO TRUST GOD! Campaign are asked to honor their Pledge. Giving based on Reason takes no faith. Reason simply asks, "What can I afford?" Giving based on Revelation requires faith. Revelation giving asks, "Am I willing to trust God?" ALL RESOURCES ARE AT GOD'S DISPOSAL.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), a program to promote awareness of the importance of the early detection of breast cancer. The National Cancer Institute recommends that women in their forties and older have mammograms every one to two years.
The American Cancer Society's estimates for breast cancer in the United States for 2009 are: 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer, and 40,170 deaths from breast cancer. The estimates indicate that right now there are about 2 ½ million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
THE BIBLE SAYS IT AND WE BELIEVE IT - TITHING!
Don't cheat the Lord and call it economy!
